The Cut Throat Invasion 3 Main Event Preview

We are eight days away from seeing three Cut Throat title belts up be put up for grabs at Invasion 3. The fights are taking place at La Sierra, 2121 East New York Street Aurora, IL. The card has seven action packed fights and three of those are for titles including our main event, the title defense of the lightweight championship belt. The current champion Eric "The Red" Rasmussen (2-1-3), from Uflacker, and Degerberg Academies, will try to defend his title against Patriot Boxing's Dan "The North Avenue Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz(2-1).

 

Over the years Rasmussen, has gained the respect from his peers in the fight game. He is always an exciting fighter in the ring and puts on a great show for the fans. From his entrance, to his performance in the cage Eric leaves the fans begging for more. This is Rasmussen's first tlightweight title defense, and first fight since winning the belt back at Brawl at Bourbon St. in February. His resume is packed with highlight reel knock-out after knock-out, and he is an excellent representative of the Cut Throat lightweight belt.

Patriot Boxing product Dan Ortiz is always eager to step up, and take on a new challenge. Ortiz took on the number one contender Chad Fredricksen, at Supremacy 3. Ortiz won that fight and it vaulted him to the title shot at Invasion 3. Dan is a fighter who only wants to test himself against the best, and that is why Ortiz trains with Strikeforce fighter Gabe Salinas. This should go down as one of the best fights of the night, and by the end, we will know which man truly deserves to wear the Cut Throat belt.
